Degrading Data and Deregulation: Flying Blind on Faulty Data | LIVE Q&A with Lynette Zang

Faulty Data Means Faulty Decisions

Can you make smart choices without good information? Most people are forced to try. That is exactly the problem Lynette Zang highlights in her latest live Q&A.

The government and central banks are dismantling access to reliable economic data, making it harder than ever for individuals to make informed financial decisions. This is not accidental. It is a deliberate effort to keep the public in the dark while major changes to the monetary system are pushed through quietly.

Inflation Data Is Being Manipulated

The Consumer Price Index, or CPI, which measures inflation, is no longer trustworthy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has reduced its sample collection, shrinking visibility into how inflation is really impacting your daily life.

On top of that, the CPI has long used a method called hedonics. This allows them to substitute goods in the inflation basket when prices rise. If steak becomes too expensive, they replace it with hamburger. If hamburger becomes too expensive, they swap in hot dogs. This practice distorts the true cost of living.

Now, they are going a step further by rebasing the CPI. By setting December 2024 as the new benchmark and equating it to 100, they can make current data appear more favorable, further hiding the true rate of inflation. This deceptive data will influence central bank decisions on interest rates and monetary policy.

Gold and Silver Hold Real Value

While official inflation numbers are being massaged, one thing remains honest and unchanging: physical gold and silver.

  • Gold is real.
  • Silver is real.
  • They are tangible assets that you can hold and own outright.

Central planners can manipulate spot prices, but they cannot change the intrinsic value of these metals. Gold and silver are used in every sector of the global economy, giving them broad utility and real demand. When confidence in fiat currencies collapses, gold and silver will reassert their true value.

Deregulation: A Gift to Wall Street, A Danger to You

As if bad data were not enough, banking regulations are being stripped away. Capital control rules are loosening, giving Wall Street even more freedom to gamble with your deposits.

Banks no longer have to hold any reserves against your deposits. This zero-reserve requirement puts your money at extreme risk. And the worst part is, while deregulation expands, the laws that allow banks to execute bail-ins remain untouched. That means during a financial crisis, your deposits can be legally seized to cover the bank’s losses.

This is not fear. It is fact.

The Digital Dollar Is Already Here

The recent legalization of US dollar-backed stablecoins marks a major shift. This legislation passed swiftly and with bipartisan support, signaling that the digital financial system is not coming someday. It is already here.

Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are being pushed into IRAs. They are being marketed as the future. But this is not about innovation. It is about adoption. The powers behind this transition are creating a system you do not understand, do not control, and cannot opt out of unless you act now.

The banks have been preparing for years. Have you?

Massive New Debt Hidden from Public View

Congress recently approved nearly 8 trillion dollars in new debt, using budget tricks to keep the public from seeing the real cost. They are reviving tax cuts from 2017 and claiming they will not increase the deficit. But common sense tells us otherwise.

This is just more spending on top of what we already cannot afford. Every time they print new money, the dollars already in circulation lose value. It is a slow theft of your purchasing power.

Most people have no idea this is happening. They believe everything is fine. But everything has changed.

What You Can Do Right Now

Lynette Zang makes it clear. You cannot trust manipulated inflation data. You cannot rely on deregulated banks to protect your money. You cannot wait for the digital dollar to dominate your financial life.

Here is what you can do:

  • Trust your own research.
  • Protect your purchasing power with physical gold and silver.
  • Adopt a sound money strategy focused on tangible assets.
  • Build security in food, water, energy, shelter, barterability, and community.

These changes are not theoretical. They are happening now.

If the central banks are buying gold to protect themselves, shouldn't you be doing the same?

Take back control. Build your wealth on truth, not illusions.
