Massachusetts

In Massachusetts, sales of gold and silver bullion, legal tender coins, and numismatic items are generally exempt from the 6.25% sales tax, but only if the total sales price of the transaction is $1,000 or more. Purchases under $1,000, as well as all platinum, palladium, and copper products, are taxable.
